Calvary Watertown

calvarywatertownministryupdateWe had a great week last week split between Watertown, WI, and International Falls, MN. Saturday through Wednesday we were at Calvary Baptist in Watertown. It started off with a bang on Saturday at a teen paintball activity. The single team members and Josh had a great time with the teens, and went away with only a few welts!

Monday and Tuesday were very busy days, but very good days with so many ministry opportunities. We started these two days in chapel at Maranatha Baptist Bible College. The team was able to minister in song, and Will preached. In Calvary Baptist’s Christian School, the team was able to take a couple hours each afternoon on Monday through Wednesday and play games and have a teaching time with the 5th-8th graders. On Monday night, we had a men’s outreach event, and a ladies outreach on Tuesday night.

These outreach events were great opportunities for the church members to bring some unsaved friends. It was encouraging to see many church folks bring people to hear the gospel that they have been building relationships with. We saw several professions of faith those two nights. Pray for fruit that remains in the church!

Thursday morning, we left for International Falls. We were able to spend a good, long time on Friday and Saturday practicing music for our upcoming recording in November.

We praise God for His kindness in this ministry that He's given to us. There are so many ways everyday that He shows His grace to us—in driving safety, time to do necessary things like maintenance and music practice, daily provisions for food and finances, allowing us to see some fruit for our labors, and the list could go on! We serve a great God who shows His love for us. May we never take for granted God’s provision, and always show our thankfulness to our kind God!
