sandcreekthumbWe had great week at Sand Creek Baptist in Jordan, MN. Sand Creek is a five year old church plant of some great people who love each other, love their community, and have a burden to make disciples for Christ in Jordan. They were a blessing to our team!

The church does not yet have a permanent building, so we had our Sunday service at one of the local high schools, and the rest of our meetings at another venue in Downtown Jordan called “The Hub.” It was neat to see the church so willing to be flexible and just serve people since there was quite a bit of moving stuff around to be done with being in a couple different locations. Everyone was so willing to jump in and serve so that the work of the ministry could go forward.

On our Irish Concert night, we had many guests come out and by God’s Grace, we were able to see several professions of faith! Praise the Lord!

We also were able to see God provide very specifically for our team. When Will and Christy were pulling up to where they were going to park the trailer for the week, one of brakes locked up on their trailer and destroyed a tire. A couple of men from the church came to help Will with the trailer and eventually found that 5 of the 6 brakes on the trailer were going bad. However, through the kindness of God’s people, almost all the expenses for the fix were paid for that week, and one of the guys in the church who owns a heavy equipment repair shop came and did all the labor for free! We’re thankful for this trial and for how our God is always faithful!
